1. Organization (25 points)
Advanced (4): Resume is well-organized, error-free, and highlights educational experience. Follows formatting standards perfectly.
Proficient (3): Resume has minor errors (1-2) but is well-structured and follows formatting standards with minimal mistakes.
Basic (2): Resume contains some errors (3-4) and formatting mistakes but remains mostly structured.
Developing (1): Needs assistance to meet basic organizational skills.
Needs Assistance (0): Resume is disorganized, incomprehensible, and does not follow high school resume standards.
2. Visual Appeal (25 points)
Advanced (4): Uses technology to create an engaging, visually appealing resume beyond basic expectations.
Proficient (3): Uses technology adequately; meets basic expectations for visual appeal.
Basic (2): Uses technology but lacks strong visual appeal or does not go beyond basic expectations.
Developing (1): Needs help achieving basic skills.
Needs Assistance (0): Does not use technology effectively. Resume is confusing or lacks visual appeal.
3. Word Choice (25 points)
Advanced (4): Uses specific, accurate, and varied words with academic precision.
Proficient (3): Uses adequate, correct words but with little variation or scholarly precision.
Basic (2): Word choice is vague or inappropriate for the audience.
Developing (1): Needs help selecting appropriate words.
Needs Assistance (0): Words are misused or lack clarity.
4. Conventions (25 points)
Advanced (4): Consistently uses parallel grammar and past-tense verbs. No more than 1 spelling, capitalization, or punctuation error.
Proficient (3): Mostly maintains parallel grammar and past-tense verbs. 2-3 spelling, capitalization, or punctuation errors.
Basic (2): Some parallel grammar and past-tense verb consistency. 4-5 errors in spelling, capitalization, or punctuation.
Developing (1): Needs help maintaining basic grammatical structure.
Needs Assistance (0): 7+ grammar, spelling, capitalization, or punctuation errors.
