- Learn about countries where the language is spoken; improve geographical, cultural and historical knowledge.
- By adding an international dimension, cultural awareness and enhanced communication skills to your choice of GCSE subjects, you will have ‘added extras’ in terms of skills that are often sought after by employers and higher education establishments.
- Learn other skills which are useful in a wide range of careers, such as the ability to communicate clearly, being confident about speaking in public and using problem solving strategies
