Course Content

The vast majority of students will study Combined Science at key stage 4, which will gain you two GCSEs in the subject. Students studying Combined Science will cover the three science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

Skills Developed

Students who undertake Combined Science will have the opportunity to explore scientific ideas in greater depth.

Assessment

All exams (six in total) are completed at the end of the two year course. There are two exams for each of the three disciplines as outlined below. Combined Science will have a 17 point grading system adopting the new grading scale, from 9-9, 9-8 through to 2-1, 1-1.
