The School Psychologist's Role
The School Psychologist's Role
School psychologists support student learning and staff teaching to best meet the needs of students with learning and behavioral challenges. They work with families, school administration and other staff, community agencies and other academic and behavior professionals to provide a safe, supportive learning environment for students. They incorporate assessments, rating scales and data to help formulate the most supportive educational plans possible within the school setting.
