JUNIORS may apply to attend one of these events held in the summer between Junior and Senior Year.

Badger Boy State and Badger Girl State events are sponsored by the WI American Legion. They are programs designed to educate young leaders on how to become more impactful community members of Wisconsin. Participants, from across the state of Wisconsin, learn how our government system works by creating their own city, county, and state level governments.

Badger Boy State and Badger Girl State are held in the summer between the Junior and Senior year of high school on college campuses in the state, through overnight weeklong stays. Families provide transportation to and from the event but all other costs are covered through donations. No fundraising is needed by the students attending.
