Why "KHS" ?:
KHS took its Chinese name from words that mean being a group that works hard at learning. This means to contribute to the school and the society.
HISTORY:
In 1930, brothers Xie Jingzhong and Xie Zigan opened the "Manu" educational supplies store in Qishan, Kaohsiung. In 1945, the Manu educational supply store had to plan its future development after the departure of the Japanese from Taiwan. The Xie brothers understood that industry will be the future development trend, so they chose educational-related musical instruments. The name Manu Educational Supplies Store was then changed to "KHS"
"KHS" sold pianos, organs, harmonicas, etc., which were imported from Japan in Taiwan in the early days. In Qishan, with its high consumption, music became very popular because of the rpomotion work done by KHS. The establishment of "KHS" branches in Pingtung, Kaohsiung and other places, allowed for the spread of the long-standing music tradition of the Qishan store throughout Taiwan. This is why KHS has always regarded "creating a high-quality quality of life" as what it should do, contributing to schools and the society, doing its part for education and country, dedicated this to education and the country, and creating a beautiful life. The founders hope that everyone connected with the organization will remember these values and embed them in every action, every word, in each undertaking.
