Unlike Zhang Wen, who was a great farmer during the Three Kingdoms period, this Zhang Wen was born in the early years of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. He then came to Heshangzhou in Taiwan from Quanzhou, Fujian, China.

Since Jiaqing was in 1796-1820, and Li Qingshui's third son, Li Shuhua, was born in 1837, it was after 1895 that Li Jiacai became a famous family in Luzhou. Therefore, the Zhang family came to Luzhou earlier than the Li family to develop.
