Music

Course Description

Students engage in a variety of music making activities, developing performance skills in groups and as a soloist. Students select an instrument of focus (including voice) and rehearse, improvise, create and perform music for different audiences. Students analyse music from contemporary and historical contexts including that of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Students will evaluate the use of music elements and characteristics from different music styles.
