Course Description

Students will be introduced to both the functional and aesthetic uses of metal and projects involve a variety of metalworking skills such as sheet metalwork and various types of welding, soldering and cutting will be carried out on various take-home projects.

Some other materials such as plastics will be integrated into the course. Students will be using the Metal Technology workshop and equipment to gain experience to prepare them for possible further studies and careers where practical know-how and hands-on skill and creativity are required.
