In this hands-on and imaginative elective, students will extend their clay-building skills by creating both decorative and functional ceramic pieces. Students will explore and refine key hand-building techniques such as pinch, slab, and coil construction, while experimenting with surface decoration and glazing methods. Inspired by contemporary ceramic artists, this subject encourages independence, creative problem-solving, and thoughtful design as students develop their own visual style.
