About The Scholarship:
The Stow Teachers Association is the professional organization representing all certificated/licensed teaching positions in the Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools District. This scholarship is intended to support graduating Stow-Munroe Falls students who plan to enter the teaching profession.
Essay Criteria:
Essay clearly addresses one of the prompts from the application with adequate supporting detail.
Essay format and organization is logical.
Essay must be at least one typed page in length. Essay should not exceed 6000 characters.
Standard font and spacing should be used.
Essays should be of professional quality. Grammar, mechanics, and word usage should be correct and exemplify careful work and attention to detail.
Selection Process:
Members of the Stow Teachers Association will review submitted applications and award a scholarship(s) based on the criteria listed in the application. In addition, an interview process may be used to narrow the field of applicants.
