George R. Garrison Jr. Memorial

George R. Garrison, Jr. was a student of Stow Munroe Falls High School and was in the Class of

2006. He was an outstanding student and musician in the band. George was a person with a

tremendous smile, a wonderful sense of humor. He embraced the ideas of global citizenship,

diversity, and respect for all. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating member

of the senior class who embodies these characteristics.

Criteria for this scholarship is as follows:

• Applicant must be enrolled full time at Stow Munroe Falls High School.

•  Applicant must be a resident of Stow or Munroe Falls, Ohio.

•  Applicant must be enrolled in any accredited post-secondary institution.

•  Preference will be given to applicants who attend Kent State University or a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
