Phones & Watches
It is important that everyone at our school is safe. We keep your child safe when online here at school by limiting their internet access to the filtered service provided by MACS and maintaining active supervision.
Personal digital devices, brought by learners to school, are not connected to the filtered internet access nor can their use be actively supervised.
For this reason, all mobile phones, internet-enabled smart watches (including those marketed as made for children) and tablets/laptops (when not part of a BYOD program) must be given to the home group teacher before the beginning of the school day to be locked away.
Devices must be switched off before being placed in the lock box.
These devices will be returned at the end of the day.
No phones or smart watches are to be used on school grounds.
