We keep on rolling here @ ZoMaxx Raceway and celebrated EIGHT Years of racing on February 16, 2019!
This year we celebrated with another IROC style FOUR HOUR Endurance Race. Team ZoMaxx prepared all the cars that everyone raced. We had a new twist for everyone with our recently design 1:24th scale Formula Ford's designed and tested by ZoMaxx MotorSports. If you like open wheel racing these cars are a ball. The take a beating and keep on running. It did take all 6 cars to keep everyone racing, but as we pasted the half way point everyone had settled into a rhythm and it was smooth racing.
You can get your own Formula Ford from my Shapeways Store.
In the first half of the race, Pat jumped out to an early lead over Andy. Steve was right there just a few laps back in 3rd place.
In the second round standing there was a lot of changes on the leader board. Pat was still solid on 1st place but Andy dropped to 3rd. Paul moved from a 7th place to 4th. Bob and Bruce swapped places. Steve traded his 3rd place for a 7th. Our 2 rookies Mark and Josh battled for the bottom. Josh, our rookie of the day who won the Goodys Headache Award for having the worst luck.
Mark won the free Formula Ford body. We look forward to him getting that up and running. The top 3 got a coveted, commemorative tee shirt! Big thanks to Danger Bob for his help designing the tee shirts and working on the cars all day. I couldn’t have done it without your help!
The biggest question of the day, 9 guys ate only 9 donuts 🍩🤯
When you add it all together, it was another fun Enduro at ZoMaxx Raceway. Thank's to everyone that came out to join our
