Six Years of racing on the ZoMaxx happened!
Robo-Jeff, was on a terror! He jumped out to a 4 lap lead over Kurt after the first round of heats. But Kurt did not give up. After the second round Kurt put down 2 more then Jeff and was just 2 laps back of Jeff. After the third round Kurt had taken another lap from Jeff's lead, leaving him with P2, just ONE lap back. Congrats to Jeff on the win and Kurt for his first time at ZoMaxx Raceway!
Butch sat in 3rd the whole time with Greg nipping at his heals.
Pat had 5th locked up even though he was throwing down some of the fastest lap times of the day.
In the final round Ross was just 5' in front of Danger Bob. Paul rounded out the crew with a big smile and killer curls.

FIVE Years of racing on the ZoMaxx is in the books!
Thanks to everyone for five fun years of racing.
It only took five years of manipulating the race format for ZoMaxx head driver to win a race.
The past four years ZoMaxx:
So this year ZoMaxx made them all build at least two cars for the race. He even want so far to dilute many that it would be even cooler to build four different cars, one for each lane. To be honest he's not smart enough to plan it that way, but when he was telling a friend about the past five races that was the FIRST conclusion that his friend came up with... See all the results number below, but in summary:
Eric and Greg had some great looking cars, but Eric had some controller trouble early in the race setting him back a bit. Greg was right there with some really fast lap times on Blue with his Modified car, but the others were just not handling as well.
Andy was able to run MUCH faster then anyone else on the Green lane with the ZoMaxx prepped car from 2015 but a broken lead wire late in the race put him back to the pit for a Green flag repair.
Paul was slowly moving up during the race and was sitting in 4th after the second round. He was screaming on the Blue lane in a ZoMaxx loaner car. In the third round, a hard hit to the wall in Blue broke the motor pod and his gears were grinding bad till finally another hit put him out. But he was able to hang on to a P5 finish.
Pat was a lock for third place the first two rounds but as Jeff got faster Pat did not and that put Pat back to a P4 finish.
Jeff was coming on hard as the day progressed! Jeff certainly gets the Hard Charger award. Had the race been longer he may have won. 1634 laps gives him a P3. Jeff was just 7 laps back from Bob at the finish and charging hard!
Bob seemed content with P2 each round. 1641 laps was just 9 laps back at the finish. Had he run his three fastest cars and not four, he might have won...
Team ZoMaxx got out to an early lead and was just able to hang on to it till the end. With a nine lap lead, head driver stopped at the finish line with 7 seconds left in the race to finish with an even 1650 laps.
The cars:
Half the teams raced four cars and the other half raced three. This is the finishing order.
