Then, the "king" constellation + virgin would indicate the birth of "a messiah"... "David, the prince"

Joseph said 'my son" named David... The association was quite naturally made by Brigham & Eliza to Emma's son "David", who was born after his father's murder, but that "David" did not fullfill Joseph's prophesy. The obvious conclusion is that Joseph was speaking of his son,
... not Emma's son.

By the time of the removal of the Cherokee Indians in 1838, it was known as Konehetee, or "valley".
