Player Description

Though the city originally had many followers of Aroden, the Inheritor has not enjoyed the same following. This crumbling temple serves the ever-waning followers of Iomedae. Despite its moderately-sized congregation, the church has few funds for outreach and few clergy to minister them, forty or fifty in a church that should have four or five times that number.

The original name of the Spire of Strife is 'L'Eglise d'Aroden Contentieuse', "The Church of Aroden Contentious", meaning to indicate how Aroden fought for humanity against so many different difficulties, but the paint choice for the dome's red spire inspired the alternate name early, and only in formal documents is the church's formal name (switching Iomedae's name in for Aroden) still used.
