So how does a person reduce stress?  There is not one single answer for every person on this planet.  Since we are all different, we all will respond to different techniques in different ways.  Here is a fairly comprehensive list of varying techniques that have been researched (not just invented) to help reduce stress levels...

Relax

When you do check out the stress reducers list on the website above, several of the first few techniques are ways to relax. You might like one or many of these.  You might not like any... why? Were they too slow (that is kind of the idea).  Or perhaps you don't like the man's voice.  There are numerous websites/resources out there that have various relaxation techniques.  Try several out.  See what you like/don't like.  After a while, you won't need the auditory track to follow because you will be able to do the technique on your own with practice.
