The World Health Organization points out that Infectious Diseases still dominate the top of the list as the main killer in low-income countries (little further down on the page)

Throughout our Wellness class we will be talking about many of these chronic diseases (as well as a few infectious diseases) and how the habits that a person chooses to do, influences the onset of these diseases.
