Kundu is the son of Kurzan of the Magyar clan of Mathom Trove. He was apprenticed to Mistress Marie Genvieve as he shared her interest in music. He also had an avid interest in jewelry-making and in medieval games. Jake was a special young man and he will be sorely missed.

John K. Foster John K. "Jake" Foster, 19, of Palatka, passed away suddenly Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Jake was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka. He was a 2007 graduate of Interlachen High School, where he had been active with the band and was currently a student at St. Johns River Community College, where he was studying criminal justice. Jake was a member of the First Baptist Church of Interlachen, was very community oriented, spending many hours volunteering in various organizations. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 342 and was also a member of the Friends of the Ravines as well as the SCA (Society of Creative Anachronists), which is an historical re-enacting organization. Jake also enjoyed listening to many varieties of music as well as making jewelry.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marian and Fred Strunk; his father and stepmother, Lawrence and Joyce Foster; a brother, David Foster; a sister, Erin Foster, all of Palatka; his grandparents, Katherine Foster of Palatka and John and Barbara Foster of Panama City; and a nephew, Jayden Foster.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with James Roberson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Jake's memory to Friends of the Ravine, Inc., C/O, Donna Rhein, 1604 Twigg St., Palatka, FL 32177.
