Former Baron of the Barony of Darkwater and previous holder of so many heraldic offices, including Triskele Principle Herald, Baron Haakon passed unexpectedly from this earth and left many bereft. He will long be remembered as a husband, a father, a pelican, a herald, a kind man, and the giver of many good hugs. With Haakon, you were always safe, no matter if it was a late night heraldic consultation session or the streets of New Orleans, he was ever at the ready to defend his friends and family at a moments notice. May the sound of his laughter ring forever in the halls of Valhalla and await so many of us as we arrive.
