How is this a demo if you can test anything out? 1 star.
Jungle Jim - Hello there.
First off, I assume you meant to say "can't". Otherwise, if you're leaving a 1-star rating because you can test things out in a free app, then I don't know what your issue is.
Now then, I'm sorry to hear that you do not know the meaning of "demo". Please allow me to explain.
"Demo" is short for (say it with me now) "de-mon-stra-tion". Well done! Still with me? OK, let's proceed.
"De-mon-stra-tion" has a few definitions.
In this case, the most applicable is: "the act of exhibiting the operation or use of a device, machine, process, product, or the like, as to a prospective buyer."
I know, that's a mouthful. Read that over a few times until it sinks in. I'll wait.
Ready? Good! Let's proceed!
The purpose of the free version of the TreKing app, as clearly described, is to provide basic features along with exhibiting the operations or use of other advanced features to a prospective buyer.
The free app is specifically designed to allow the prospective buyer (that would be you!) to try and get a feel for every feature and piece of functionality available in the app.
That is how "this is a demo" - because you can try everything out.
I hope this answers your question. If not, please start over and review this lesson again. It will be on the test!
Tune in next week when we review the difference between "live predictions" and "posted schedules". There seems to be a lot of confusion there!
My Rating:
How is this a review if you don't say anything about the app itself? 0 stars.
