The researchers of the University of Camerino have been recently joined by a common interest in topology, algebra and dynamical systems.
Along with a first tradition in logic and model theory (concerning algebra) and a second tradition in algebraic topology and differential geometry (concerning topology), there have been more recent interactions with the dynamical systems and with the mathematical models, which involve quantum mechanics.
In analogy with other researchers, who are present at the University of Camerino and work on topological data analysis, quantum information theory and artificial intelligence, it emerged a recent interest in the study of these disciplines, but the main idea of our research group is to focus on the topological algebra and on the methodologies which are typical of the pure mathematics.
Therefore some of the members of the Mathematics Division of the School of Science and Technology decided to meet regularly, discussing their own fields of interest and sharing common perspectives in a regular way: the present research group is devoted to give space to such discussions, extending our national networks and our scientific interests to some colleagues who are placed in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, but work on similar research topics.
From this site you can access information about our members, seminars, meetings and recent activities.
It is also possible to download a selection of scientific contributions, produced by our members in the last years.
