Unit 3 Math Assessment will be on SUNDAY, November 20.

Project Due: MONDAY, November 21^st. ____________________________________

Directions:

1. On a clean piece of paper draw an outline map of an imaginary continent. You may make it any shape you wish.

2. Include two landforms.

3. Include a legend (map key) for your map. On the legend have

― A symbol for each landform you choose.

4. Draw a Compass Rose to show direction.

― Label the Compass Rose

5. Draw a mountain range. Include:

― The mountain range running east and west across your continent

― A symbol for your mountain range in your legend.

6. Show two cities. Include:

― One city in the northern half of your continent.

― One city in the southern half of your continent.

7. Show rivers on your continent.

― Three rivers on your continent.

― A symbol for your rivers in your legend.

8. Show boundary lines (borders)

― Divide your continent into at least THREE sections.

9. Name:
