Hazardous Weather Project Rubric

You have just moved into your new house in a hazardous weather zone! This means that when you have extreme weather/ hazardous weather, your home could flood, get damaged by flying debris, have trees fall on your home, and you could loose electricity !

You have to come up with a design to keep your house safe from damage, flooding, flying debris, trees, and loss of electricity.

You will also create an emergency action plan to help ensure you, your family, and your pets can be safe. The design should focus on minimizing damage to your home and keeping your family and pets safe.

Please remember you will work on this daily and submit your working ideas to me daily. I will help you edit it so when you present you have a plan. I want you to be successful, learn and enjoy this project. If you have any questions come to me during Science; so I can help you.
