We have begun reading the book "Who is Gandhi?" to go long with our

influential people unit of study for Social Studies and Reading.

The following words below you will take a short quiz on Thursday,

January 26th. Each week you will have new words to go along with

the book we are reading. Remember to study EVERY night for

independence- noun- freedom from the control, influence, support, aid, or the like, of others.

confident- adjective- sure of oneself; having no uncertainty about one's own abilities, correctness, successfulness, etc.; self-confident; bold:

urge- verb- to ask people to do or support (something) in a way that shows that you believe it is very important.

community-noun- a place where we live, work and play together.

viceroy- noun- ruler, representative or governor.
