About Us

The International Conference of Witches Warlocks and Ghouls (ICWWG) was founded 1992 in the darkest depths of Brooklyn, New York. Although its history can be traced back to the 1700's as a loose affiliation of monsters, it was not until the early 1990's that the organization formalized. By adopting the adage of "hiding in plain sight," The ICWWG made its debut in the form of a Halloween party. Under the guise of an annual party, the multitudes of supernatural entities have found both voice and vision in the modern world.

Co-founded by Baron Thomas Thunderblood (aka Thomas Approbato) and the late, Malicious Mark (aka C. Mark Clayton), The organization went from local representation to membership in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Today there are a few hundred members: living, dead, and undecided. Some openly participate in the annual events while others prefer to remain in the shadows.

Membership is obtained through invitation only or through current member sponsorship.

Invitations to the annual event coincide with the release of the October edition of The Epitaph.
