Intro to the Worship Environment

Everything that makes up the totality of the worship act is important, though some things are more important than others. Inasmuch as "hardware" and environment help make the worship act visibly and physically coherent, they deserve serious consideration, though they are of secondary consequence. Remember, Christian worship does not center on a cult object or require a fixed altar that has to be housed in a special way. Christians themselves are the living stones of the new temple, in whom the Holy Spirit dwells (cf. 1 Peter 2:4-10; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Ephesians 2:19-22).
