Above the tabernacle housing the Most Holy Eucharist is a mosaic that serves to remind us of the Divine Presence in our midst. Made of small pieces of stone and glass, this mosaic executed by Sr. Mary Denay shows an image of the Host (white disc) and the ancient Chi-Rho design, the initial Greek letters ("P" and "X" or sometimes "+") in Jesus' title of "Christ," that is, "Savior."
Looking at this mosaic we are reminded that Jesus our Savior is present with us in the Eucharist.
