The "door of faith" (Acts 14:27) is always open for us, ushering us into the life of communion with God and offering entry into His Church.
The doors also symbolize Jesus Christ, for only through Him can we enter eternal life (cf. John 10:9).
Finally, we are reminded that as we pass through these doors, we enter a sacred space dedicated to the Lord and set aside for prayer: "My house shall be called a house of prayer" (Mark 11:17).
