COPE Outing 2023

August 11-13, 2023

The Troop will muster Friday, August 11, 5:00 PM, at the VFW Hall Parking Lot. Scouts should either bring dinner with them to eat at Camp or eat dinner prior to arrival. Scouts will be camping in tents at the Delaware Campsite on the Firelands Reservation. Scouts will prepare a hot breakfast Saturday morning and hot dinner in the evening. Scouts will participate in a BSA Staff led COPE program on Saturday, August 12 from 9 AM to 3 PM with the Scouts providing their own trail lunch. Scouts will depart Camp Sunday morning after eating a cold breakfast and policing the Campsite.

COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) will be a challenge course activity led by BSA Staff which will focus on group initiatives, team building, problem solving and physical challenge. The program will be tailored to the unique needs of our young Troop.

The cost for this outing is $30/Scout or adult.
