Throughout the summer months, it is imperative that scouts prepare for the heat. Whether during an outing or just on a hike, you should make sure to bring plenty of water - at least a liter even for short hikes. Additionally, make sure to consistently drink water - chugging a whole liter won't help as much as drinking it throughout the day!
