Flag Retirement Ceremony

Hey everyone,

I hope that you're all doing well. As was discussed after we planted flags in the cemeteries, there will be a flag retirement ceremony at the VFW on Monday starting at 7:50pm. A flag retirement ceremony is essentially where we collect worn flags that can no longer be used and respectfully retire them by burning them. By helping out with this, we're helping out both the community and the VFW, so please try to help out. Please show up in full Class A uniform. Additionally, this is just a reminder that we will be marching in the Memorial Day parade on Monday. Please plan to arrive at Solon Fire Station 2 at 10:00am.
