As a work-based learning coordinator, I provide supports to the Career and Technical Education Programs at the Institute of Technology @ Syracuse Central. I work collaboratively with teachers to provide meaningful opportunities for students to make connections with area businesses to support employment opportunities during the summer and upon graduation.

SCSD has partnered with Syracuse University to offer CTE and P-TECH students employment opportunities to apply learned classroom skills in the workplace. As the CTE Summer Internship Coordinator, I will support students’ successful transition to this employment opportunity, as well as provide supports throughout the summer internship.
