The classroom environment created is conducive to the students individual learning styles. Grouping the desks into four (4) small groups assist with maintaining space in the classroom, but more importantly allows the students to develop a working relationship with students who sit with them. The development of a working relationship also permits the student the ability to begin to develop stable working social skills with peers of their own age.
The following artifact shows the lack of space for this particular classroom, but with creative organizational skills students as well as the teacher are able to work in a limited space with a successful outcome. Students are productive & appear more involved than students in a larger classroom environment. Although the classroom has a restricted special environment; the students are able to have a successful classroom environment.
