Communication with fellow educators, I believe, is important to the educational growth process. Communicating with teachers who are teaching the same subject allow individuals to pick up teaching/technology techniques, which I may not of thought to implement. I believe working closely with fellow educators permits one to grow into the best educator the students can possibly have teaching them.
The following artifact shows collaboration/communication, which educators complete amongst themselves daily. This process allows the information being presented to remain fresh and continues the informational presentation growth process. I believe it is imperative to keep the information new and exciting for the students, which creates student interaction and generates an increase in a students cognitive abilities.
When teachers collaborate/communicate in the presence of students; students with different learning abilities have a tendency to come over and see what we are talking about. Students are very involved in their own educational experience and like educators; they too like to see new inventive/creative ways of viewing historical information. Educating students is a joyous experience, which should involve everyone from student to Parent/Guardian.
Historical information is all around us and we only have to walkout into our own communities to enjoy what history of the past, present and future has to offer all of us and the learning experience, which we will gain.
