Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)

PBIS is a fantastic way to acknowledge students appropriate behavior and highlight his/her success via a personal notation, which is sent home to parental advocates. This process also creates a prize pool for students and allows those students the opportunity to win various items as part of the recognition process.

This program is a great way to continually encourage students to make great choices.

I designed the "Spartan Pride" board as a way to feature positive behaviors, thank donors, feature stand out students and share total fist bumps written. This board encourages students to make appropriate choices and shows appreciation to Teachers and other staff members.

Appreciation photo given to me via the PBIS Committee for years of service. I am humbled and honored to be recognized for all the work done over the years. However; we have lots of work ahead of us and I look forward to the next opportunity to work/collaborate with ESM's PBIS Committee.
