You probably have heard of the Save Our Rail Northland Group. We are active to preserve the Auckland to Northland Rail system.

We are anxious to know if candidates in the forth coming Te Tai Tokerau by-election are of a similar mind.

We would grateful if you would answer the following questions:

1. Do you support retaining the Auckland to Northland rail system in its present form?

2. Do you support up grading the from Auckland to Otiria?

3. Do you support building the link from Oakleigh to the Marsden deep water port?

4. Will you oppose mothballing or closing of this line?

5. Currently more than one train per day travels the Dargaville branch line; will you be active to talk to Kiwi Rail to expedite overdue repairs on this track?
