Cross-Registration Options

Cross Enrollment/Registration is when students simultaneously attend an ARCHE institution and Georgia Tech. To be eligible, students must be a Junior, Senior or a Graduate student in good academic standing, and taking courses that are not offered at Georgia Tech in the given semester. IP students are eligible for Cross Enrollment/Registration at the second semester of the first year of enrollment at GT. The tuition and fees are paid to Georgia Tech and the host institution will put a tuition waiver on their records. The cross registered student does not register themselves and cross registration is never guaranteed. Concurrent Registration is when a Georgia Tech student attends another non-ARCHE institution while enrolled at Georgia Tech. Prior approval must be granted to do so during the fall and spring semesters. Students can attend both institutions without prior approval during the summer term only. They will apply to the other institution as a Transient student. Students must apply via the institution’s Admission Office and pay the application, tuition and fees to the institution as well as pay tuition and fees to Georgia Tech. These students will register themselves if they are accepted. The 36-hour rule applies to Concurrent Registration.
