5. THE CHAIRMAN’S ANNUAL REPORT: The Christmas gigs went well and then Covid 19 came along. In April, with no further gigs until further notice, the committee decided to give £1500 to each of our three charities rather than keep it in the bank. The Committeements made several YouTube videos which were used by our charities for online events and also received £300 in online donations. A Monday night Zoom meeting was set up. In September the committee decided to give a further £500 to each of our charities for the financial year ending 30 September 2020. This was completed in October 2020.
6. PRESENTATION AND ADOPTION OF ACCOUNTS: The treasurer circulated copies of the Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet for the last financial year. They showed an income for the year of £4,634.74 and nil expenditure except for the £6,000 donated to charity from FY ending 30 September 2019 and the £4,500 paid in April from this year’s funds as stated by the Chairman. Assets held at the end of this financial year were £2,065.51. The AGM approved and adopted the accounts.
7. CHOOSING A LOCAL CHARITY TO SUPPORT: This is the third year for our three charities. These were chosen at the last AGM and it was agreed that we keep them for 3 years: Age Concern, Make and PARCS.
8. ELECTION OF THE COMMITTEE: In accordance with our constitution all members of the committee resigned. All had offered to continue in their current roles and so the same officers and members were duly re-elected by the AGM for another year.
9. ANNUAL PRIZEGIVING: There was no annual prize giving this year
10. CHANGES TO THE CONSTITUTION. There were no changes to the Constitution.
