Caroline was born on 14 October 1823 and baptised at St John Maddermarket Catholic Chapel on 22 October 1823.
In the 1841 census, collected on 6 June, she lived in Lower Goat Lane, St Gregory, Norwich, with her mother and two sisters Maria and Rosina. She was an upholstress.
On 18 February 1845 Caroline had a son, Charles. She lived at Chapel Street, Crooks Place, St Stephen, Norwich.
In the 1851 census, collected on 30 March, Caroline lived on Kett's Hill, Thorpe, Norwich, a visitor at the house of James Atkinson and his family.
On 20 March 1855 Caroline had a daughter, Louisa Atkinson. She lived in St Benedict's Road, Heigham. On Louisa's birth certificate, James was mentioned as the father, but the name was crossed out.
Caroline died on 20 January 1861 in Lakenham, Norwich. She was a seamstress. Her sister Rosina was present at her death.
