My research about Pellegrino Mazzotti started when Nick Williams of Norwich HEART told me he was preparing a book about the blue plaques in Norwich but couldn't find anything on Pellegrino Mazzotti. I had time and was looking for a challenge. It has been a rewarding quest that put me in touch with some Mazzotti descendants.
Finding Pellegrino's death certificate was one of the highlights. Seeing Pellegrino's portrait was another one. And in December 2010 I discovered a link with my home city, Ghent (Belgium): Charles Mazzotti, Pellegrino's first grandson, died in Ghent in 1913, while he was working at the World Expo.
Many organisations and individuals have contributed to my research on Pellegrino Mazzotti. I am grateful for everyone's help!
