BUDDY SYSTEM FOR RESULTS DURING CLINICIAN ABSENCE
ANP's BUDDY TOGETHER - each ANP will oversee each others results during the absence of their colleague, where the absence is due to a shift pattern and less than 48hrs in length the results are left for them to pick up on their return.

Blood Results
The patient upon having Bloods taken is informed that we will contact them IF the results are abnormal and we will NOT contact them if they are normal, the patient is also welcome to contact us for results: It is agreed that the following mechanism will be used for calling in a patient following abnormal Bloods (confirmed at Clinical meeting Dated: 19/4/2024)
NORMAL - PATIENT NOT CONTACTED
ABNORMAL - NON URGENT - ACCURX TO PATIENT (IF APPROPRIATE) IF NEEDING TO SPEAK TO PATIENT: EITHER ACCURX WITH BOOKING LINK (IF APPROPRIATE FOR 5 MIN RESULT SLOT) OR TASK TO RECEPTION TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT (ENSURE TO ANNOTE IF 5 MINS RESULT APPOINTMENT OK OR IF A NORMAL 10 MINS APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED)
ABNORMAL - URGENT - URGENT TASK TO RECEPTION TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
ABNORMAL VERY URGENT - GP/ANP TO CALL PATIENT

ALERT POPUP - Add Daily Script Alert
1. From Patients record Select NEW TASK
2. Select the Task Group:
3. If the patient had a previous allocated Alert the patient will be removed from this list and allocated a new Alert
4. The Pop Up Alert will limit the number of non-clinical staff being able to raise a script request
