ADHD Referrals
ADHD Referrals
Option One – The referring GP can make a direct referral to the requested provider if they are in clinical support of the referral request and feel that this provider can meet the patients needs. The referring GP will need to carry out the appropriate due diligence checks which will include ensuring that the provider holds an NHS Standard Contract, ensuring that the provider covers the service being requested, ensuring the contract includes Children and Young Persons services and that they offer an follow up services such ADHD treatment as well as assessment if this is appropriate.
Option Two – The referring GP can submit a referral to Lincolnshire ICB’s Right to Choose Single Point of Access who will be responsible for carrying out the due diligence checks for this provider. The Single Point of Access will also support to determine if the referral meets the NICE criteria for a health funded assessment. The decision will then be communicated to the referrer to complete the appropriate actions.
Lincolnshire ICB hold a contract with Dr J and Colleagues for ADHD Assessment and Treatment.
We have the below providers that have been accredited by Lincolnshire ICB but we do not hold a contract with them. They do all have an NHS Standard Contract with another ICB –
