VJ Day 80th Anniversary: Racist West Ignores Australia-complicit WW2 Chinese, Bengali & Gaza Holocausts

Japan surrendered on 15 August 1945 but the official documents were actually only formally signed on 2 September 1945 that is commemorated by the US as Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day). 2 September 2025 marked the 80th anniversary of VJ Day and was the occasion for a huge Victory Parade in Beijing remembering 35-40 million Chinese killed in WW2. However only 5 European heads of state attended shocking testament to US-promoted Sinophobia in the European world.
Further, the racist West has not just overwhelmingly ignored the huge contribution of China to the Allied war effort in WW2 but has also overwhelmingly ignored the huge reality of the 1942-1945 WW2 Bengali Holocaust (WW2 Indian Holocaust, WW2 Bengal Famine; 6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Bihar, Orissa and Assam by the British with food-denying Australian complicity). Small wonder that the racist and Zionist-perverted West has failed to take concrete action over the 23 months of the Zionist Israeli-imposed Gaza Holocaust and indeed under-counts over 10-fold the horrific death toll (680,000 Gazans killed by violence and impose deprivation by 25 April 2025).
As detailed and documented below, on this VJ Day 80th Anniversary, the racist West ignored the Australia-complicit Chinese, Bengali and Gaza Holocausts
(1). Western under-counting of deaths in the Japanese-imposed, Australia-complicit 1937-1945 Chinese Holocaust, the British-imposed 1942-1945 Bengali Holocaust and the Zionist Israeli-imposed 2023 onwards Gaza Holocaust.
Wikipedia summarized World War 2 (WW2) deaths thus: “ World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history. An estimated total of 70–85 million deaths were caused by the conflict, representing about 3% of the estimated global population of 2.3 billion in 1940. Deaths directly caused by the war (including military and civilian fatalities) are estimated at 50–56 million, with an additional estimated 19–28 million deaths from war-related disease and famine. Civilian deaths totaled 50–55 million. Military deaths from all causes totaled 21–25 million, including deaths in captivity of about 5 million prisoners of war. More than half of the total number of casualties are accounted for by the dead of the Republic of China and of the Soviet Union” [1]. However as set out below Wikipedia hugely under-counts deaths in the WW2 Chinese Holocaust and the WW2 Bengali Holocaust. Likewise, Western and Australian Mainstream under-count deaths from violence and deprivation in the Gaza Holocaust by factor of about 11-fold.
(i). WW2 Chinese Holocaust. Wikipedia under-counts war-related Chinese deaths in 1937-1945 by a factor of about 2-fold. Thus Wikipedia estimates 15.0-20.0 million war-related Chinese deaths [1] whereas the reality is 35.0- 40.0 million. Thus the official Chinese medium Xinhua (2025) estimates 35 million Chinese deaths: “China was the main theater in the East of the World Anti-Fascist War. The Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression from 1931 to 1945 was the first to break out in the world war, and it lasted the longest. The war caused over 35 million Chinese military and civilian casualties, including more than 300,000 people killed by Japanese troops in the Nanjing Massacre” [2]. Similarly the China Daily: “During the 14-year Japanese invasion of China, the Chinese suffered more than 35 million military and nonmilitary casualties, accounting for a third of the total casualties of all the countries in World War II. Military casualties during the invasion totaled 3.8 million, according to updated figures” [3]. TRADOC reports: “Then, in World War I, the Chinese sent more than 100,000 troops to Europe to fight on the side of the Allied powers. But at the war’s end, Chinese territory that the Germans had controlled was not given back to China by the victorious Western powers but instead was given to China’s enemies, the Japanese. Less than 20 years later, the Japanese invaded China and commenced a brutal occupation that directly or indirectly cost the lives of approximately 40 million Chinese”[4].
(ii). WW2 Bengali Holocaust. Wikipedia hugely under-counts war-related Indian deaths. Thus Wikipedia estimates 2.2 -3.1 million Indian war-related deaths. However this hugely under-estimates 6-7 million deaths in the British-imposed, 1942-1945 WW2 Bengali Holocaust [5-14]. Thus medical historian Dr Sanjoy Bhattacharya (Welcome Institute, London): “The speed of the Japanese advance created panic in India. Huge numbers of Indian, British, Chinese and American soldiers came back into India and everyone expected the Japanese to march into what is now the North Eastern wing of India. The Japanese dominated the Bay of Bengal. There were some bombing raids on Calcutta so there was generalised panic amongst the administrators. They actually expected Japanese troops to come in from various directions. In view of this they decided that it would best to destroy food and modes of transportation along areas where the Japanese troops might come in. And the scorched earth policy was intended to actually destroy food stocks and things like boats, bicycles, things that the Japanese Army had used very effectively in Singapore… There can be no doubt that that caused localised shortages of food. And generally it threw the market economy of the affected districts out of gear, completely. There can be no doubt about that… The Bengal Famine started in Bengal. But as panic responses from the state tried to bring the famine under control in Bengal localised famines were created in provinces surrounding Bengal. So that six to seven million figure includes the deaths that happened in let’s say the provinces of Bihar, Orissa and Assam… [6 to 7] Million people. There are elements of the report, if read carefully and specially if you read the first draft of the report which is available at the National Archives of India, there were many people then who believed that supply actually had fallen only by about six per cent so should not have resulted in the level of deaths that ultimately occurred. And that is something someone else well known as Amartya Sen has also argued that it wasn’t a question of supply. It was a question of changing entitlements” [5, 6].
(iii). Ongoing Gaza Holocaust. The Mainstream media presently report 62,000 Gazans killed after nearly 23 months of the Gaza Massacre that the racist West calls a “war” or “conflict”. However as estimated from data published by a succession of expert epidemiologists in the leading medical journal The Lancet, 136,000 Gazans died violently by 25 April 2025 with a “conservatively estimated” 4 times that number (544,000) dying from imposed deprivation for a shocking total of 680,000 deaths that is under-reported 11 fold by Western Mainstream media. In impoverished countries about 70% of avoidable deaths from deprivation are those of under-5 year old infants [15]. It is estimated that the 680,000 dead Gazans (28% of the pre-war Gaza population of 2.4 million) included 380,000 under-5 year old infants, 479,000 children in total, 63,000 women and 138,000 men [16-22]. An increasing number of expert analysts have perceived this huge under-counting of Gaza deaths [23-40], notably famed US analyst and public honesty advocate Ralph Nader [34-39] whose concerns have been placed on the US Congressional Record [37]. Apropos of about 0.7 million Gazans having been killed, US National Security Agency (NSA)-informed President Trump claimed 1.7 million Gazans were left to be removed (ethnically cleansed) to make way for expensive real estate development, this implying that 2.4 million – 1.7 million = 0.7 million Gazans had been killed by early 2025 [40].
(2). The racist and genocide-complicit West and Australia ignore the genocidal actuality of the Chinese, Bengali and Gaza Holocausts.
Genocide is defined thus by the UN Genocide Convention (the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide): “Article I. The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide, whether committed in time of peace or in time of war, is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish.
Article II. In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:(a) Killing members of the group;(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
Article III. The following acts shall be punishable:(a) Genocide; (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide; (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide; (d) Attempt to commit genocide; (e) Complicity in genocide.
Article IV. Persons committing genocide or any of the other acts enumerated in article III shall be punished, whether they are constitutionally responsible rulers, public officials or private individuals” [41].
Holocausts involve the deaths of a huge number of people. The Chinese Holocaust, Bengali Holocaust and Gaza Holocaust were also a Chinese Genocide, Bengali Genocide and Gaza Genocide, respectively, because the “intent” was proven by sustained, prolonged genocidal conduct: 1937-1945 (Chinese Genocide), 1942-1945 (Bengali Genocide), and 7 October 2023 onwards (23 months; the Gaza Genocide).
Racist and Zionist-perverted Western Governments won’t call out blatant genocide by fellow Europeans as defined by the UN Genocide Convention. However the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), an organization of 500 academics working in this area, has overwhelmingly supported a resolution that Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute genocide as defined by the UN Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide [42].
I must note here that I first became aware of the WW2 Bengal Famine by seeing the movie “Distant Thunder” directed by the brilliant Satyajit Ray that concludes by saying that 5 million people had starved to death. I was shocked that it had happened at the same time as the WW2 Jewish Holocaust that had impacted my Jewish Hungarian family and had killed a similar number of people, but had been largely white-washed out of history by successive generations of British historians. While it was absent from my huge personal library, it was recorded in the excellent Indian collection of the Dietrich Borchardt Library of La Trobe University, Melbourne. This enabled me to research, publish and broadcast nationwide about the “forgotten” Bengal Famine [43-47] and indeed publish the 1998 edition (and thence massively updated 2008 and 2022 editions) of my book “Jane Austen and the Black Hole of British History. Colonial rapacity, holocaust denial and the crisis in biological sustainability” [12]. Indeed an account by me of the WW2 Bengal Famine was the subject of a speech by Greens Senator Christobal Chamarette and tabled in the Australian Senate (note #120, p625 [12] and [48]). All the grandparents of my dear late wife of 52 years, Zareena née Lateef, were of Bengali and Bihari background and indentured labourers (“5 year slaves” known as “Girmityas” from “Agreement”) brought to Fiji to work on British and Australian sugar cane plantations. Zareena had a British colonial schooling, and Australian high school and university education but she and her similarly well-educated family members were unaware of the man-made WW2 Bengal Famine that had killed 6-7 million Indians in Bengal, Bihar, Orissa (Odisha) and Assam due to lying by omission by successive generations of British historians, journalists, politicians and writers that still continues today (for details of this continuing egregious lying by omission see [12]).
(3). Australian complicity in the Chinese, Bengali and Gaza Holocausts.
(i). Australian complicity in the Chinese Holocaust (35-40 million killed, 1937-1945). With the rise of fascism and Nazism in the 1930s conservatives were attracted to authoritarian, nationalistic and expansionist capitalism that Hannah Arendt described as “the alliance between Mob and Capital”. It is expressed today in ignorant and bigoted Trumpism that is wrecking the best of America from a thoughtful, humanitarian, scholarly and democratic perspective [49, 50]. Neo-fascism was rampant in 1930s Australia. Indeed Francis De Groot, a prominent fascist and a member of the violent and fascist New Guard, interrupted the official opening of the great Sydney Harbor Bridge in 1931 by slashing the ribbon with his sword [51]. The conservative Establishment and British bankers conspired so that the governor of New South Wales (NSW), Sir Phillip Game, abused his vice-regal powers and removed the democratically-elected government of premier Jack Lang [52] (in 1975 the Governor General of Australia removed the democratically elected Whitlam Federal Australian Labor Government in a US- and UK-backed Coup [53, 54].
Robert Menzies (called “Pig Iron Bob” for enabling iron exports to Japan as it was devastating China) visited Nazi Germany in 1938 and 1941, and pre-war expressed admiration for Nazi Germany and promoted appeasement. Marcus Browning (2025): “Far from wanting to “avoid the carnage” of another war, imperialist governments fostered and armed fascist regimes for the express purpose of stopping Communism. The appeasers helped Germany rearm; helped Hitler, Mussolini and Franco to destroy Republican Spain; refused to lift a finger to stop Japan’s conquest of China. All part of their grand plan to have the Axis powers attack and destroy the hated Bolshevik stronghold, the Soviet Union” [55]. In 1939-1941 Robert Menzies was the Australian PM as the leader of the United Australia Party (UAP) and thence was Australian PM as the inaugural leader of the Liberal Party of Australia in 1949-1966 (he was Australia’s longest-serving prime minister and involved Australia in the Korean War, Confrontation against Indonesia, and the Vietnam War) [56].
(ii). Australian complicity in the Bengali Holocaust (6-7 million killed, 1942-1945). India contributed an army of 2.4 million men to assist the British war effort in World War 2. However India was rewarded by a British-imposed Bengal Famine (Bengali Holocaust, Indian Holocaust) that killed 6-7 million Indians in Bengal, Assam, Bihar and Orissa in the period 1942-1945. Australia was a major supplier of wheat but deliberately by-passed starving India, this boosting British food stocks and what was evidently a starvation-based military strategy to prevent Japanese advance into a food-challenged Bengal and North East India. In the financial year 1942-1943 that saw the commencement of the worst famine in India in 2 centuries, the British authorities oversaw a massive net export of grains and rice from an increasingly impoverished country. Britain (population 60 million) imported food greatly surplus to its needs during WW2 at the expense of starving India (population 300 million). While the net import of all food grains into India by sea in 1939-40 was 2.2 million tons, by the 1942/43 this had become a net export of 0.4 million tons. This situation critically contributed to the price of grain and rice in Bengal during the famine and the ability of other parts of India to make a contribution when the provincial autonomy in this respect was over-ridden in a restricted region for a limited time during the emergency.
In the period 1939-1945 Australia produced about 24 million tonnes of wheat, the breakdown (in millions of tonnes) being: 4.0 (1939), 2.2 (1940), 4.5 (1941), 4.3 (1942), 3.2 (1943), 1.5 (1944) and 4.0 (1945). About 9.4 million tonnes or 40% of Australia 's wheat production was exported, the breakdown (in million tonnes) being: 2.0 (1939), 2.0 (1940), 1.0 (1941), 1.0 (1942), 1.5 (1943), 1.5 (1944) and 0.4 (1945). Only a maximum of about 1.8 million tonnes of wheat - out of 13.0 million tonnes of wheat produced in Australian in 1942-1945 or of the 4.4 million tonnes of wheat exported from Australia in 1942-1945 - was sent to starving India. Huge temporary granaries were built to store the Australian grain that could not be exported (one of these “cathedrals of the bush” survives in Murtoa, Victoria) [7].
In 1944 Churchill revealed his and Australia’s complicity in the mass murder of 7 million Indians in a secret letter to Roosevelt (the only document I have been able to find in which Churchill actually refers to the Bengal Famine): “ London , April 29 1944. Prime Minister to President Roosevelt Personal and Top Secret… By cutting down military shipments and other means, I have been able to arrange for 350,000 tons of wheat to be shipped to India from Australia during the first nine months of 1944. This is the shortest haul. I cannot see how to do more… I have had much hesitation in asking you to add to the great assistance you are giving us with shipping but a satisfactory situation in India is of such vital importance to the success of our joint plans against the Japanese that I am impelled to ask you to consider a special allocation of ships to carry wheat from Australia without reducing the assistance you are now providing for us, who are at a positive minimum if war efficiency is to be maintained. We have the wheat in Australia but we lack the ships. I have resisted for some time the Viceroy's request that I should ask you for your help, but I believe that, with this recent misfortune with the wheat harvest and in the light of Mountbatten's representations, I am no longer justified in not asking for your help” [12].
Churchill knew what he was doing by starving North East India. A keen student and scholar of British history, Churchill knew that Britain had defeated the Napoleonic French in Spain by burning the crops in retreat and thus depriving the French army of food. Indeed, addressing the House of Commons in 1935, racist, imperialist and mass murderer Winston Churchill made an extraordinary confession in stating of the subjugated Indians: “In the standard of life they have nothing to spare. The slightest fall from the present standard of life in India means slow starvation, and the actual squeezing out of life, not only of millions but of scores of millions of people, who have come into the world at your invitation and under the shield and protection of British power” [57, 58]. 7 years later Churchill commenced the deliberate starving to death over 4 years for strategic reasons of 6-7 million Indians in Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and Assam as the British exported grain from India and slashed grain imports [7]. After the war Churchill was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for his 6-volume “The Second World War” that ignored the Bengali Holocaust and indeed declared: “No great portion of the world population was so effectively protected from the horrors and perils of the World War as were the peoples of Hindustan .They were carried through the struggle on the shoulders of our small Island” [59, 60]. (I was an invited member of the longstanding and exclusive “20 Club” of senior Melbourne academics that would meet monthly to dine expensively at Melbourne University’s University House and hear and discuss a topical and philosophic presentation. I gave my last presentation some months ago but my account of Churchill’s lying by omission over the Bengal Famine was denied and the very term “lying by omission” was rejected – I caught the tram and train home and promptly resigned).
(iii). Australian complicity in the Gaza Holocaust (0.7 million killed , 7 October 2023 – 25 April 2025 and still continuing). Under either Labor or Coalition Governments Australia is second only to Zionist-perverted and serial war criminal America as a fervent supporter of genocidally racist, egregiously mendacious, endlessly thieving and serial war criminal Apartheid Israel. War is the penultimate in racism and genocide the ultimate. Those supporting Apartheid Israel and hence the utterly vile crime of Apartheid are utterly unfit for decent company, public life and public office. Labor and the Coalition are complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways [61] and lie for Apartheid Israel in 35 ways [62, 63]. In short, the Australian Labor Government (backed by an even more fervently pro-Apartheid Israel Opposition) has 2-way arms trade with Apartheid Israel (e.g. a key part for the F-35s bombing Gaza, university-based military co-research, an A$0.9 billion purchase of an Israeli weapons system from the leading Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems [64]) and despicable and massive diplomatic support for genocidal Apartheid Israel.
Article 3 of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide lists the crimes to be punished: “The following acts shall be punishable:(a) Genocide; (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide; (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide; (d) Attempt to commit genocide; (e) Complicity in genocide” [41]. Just considering “(e) Complicity in genocide”, inaction is complicity and silence is complicity. The Australian Labor Government has had 23 months of this ongoing Gaza Massacre to take concrete action but has utterly failed so far – it has merely (1) announced sanctions against 2 far-right extremist Apartheid Israeli government ministers, and (2) gone so far as to use “indefensible” to describe the Israeli shooting of Gazans seeking food.
At a recent press conference involving the fervently pro-Zionist PM Anthony Albanese and FM Penny Wong the Australian Labor Government repeatedly and savagely criticized the Occupied Palestinians using words such as “atrocities” and ”terrorists” and promised Australian recognition of an utterly powerless and Apartheid Israel-controlled State of Palestine in September 2025 after 77 years of non-recognition and Apartheid Israel totally rejecting a State of Palestine. The strongest possible implied criticism of Apartheid Israel was of a “ humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza” and “far too many innocent lives have been lost” , the latter obscenely implying that loss of “many innocent lives” would have been quite OK [65]. Of course there was no mention of how many people had been killed: 680,000 Occupier Palestinians (mostly children) killed by violence and deprivation by 25 April 2025 versus 1,200 Israelis killed on 7 October 2023 (97.5% adults and hence overwhelmingly former or present IDF Occupiers, and about 50% or 600 killed by the high explosive shelling and missile firepower of the responding IDF). Forgotten were 1,600 Occupied Palestinians of the Breakout who were killed on that day).
The Australian law firm Birchgrove Legal (5 March 2024): “Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been referred to the International Criminal Court as an accessory to genocide in Gaza, making him the first leader of a Western nation to be referred to the ICC under Article 15 of the Rome Statute. A team of Australian lawyers from Birchgrove Legal, led by King’s Counsel Sheryn Omeri, have spent months documenting the alleged complicity and outlining the individual criminal responsibility of Mr Albanese in respect to the situation in Palestine. The 92-page document, which has been endorsed by more than one hundred Australian lawyers and barristers, was yesterday submitted to the Office of ICC Prosecutor, Karim Khan KC” [66].
While the wonderful Jesus said “turn the other cheek”, and the blood-thirsty Old Testament of the Holy Bible said “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth”, the Occupied Palestinian /Zionist Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio in Gaza was (1) 7,077/340 = 21 (2008-6 October 2023), (2) 1,600/600 = 2.7 in 7-8 October 2023, (3) 680,000/600 = 1,133 (7 October 2023-25 April 2025 [67]. By way of comparison, in 1944 Nazi mass murderer Adolph Hitler ordered a Reprisals Death Ratio of 10 in response to the ambush killing of 30 German soldiers by Italian partisans, with the order being immediately effected in the Ardeatine Cave Massacre in Rome [67]. Nazi is as Nazi does. Terrorist is as terrorist does.
These Occupied / Occupier Reprisals Death Ratios in Gaza can be compared with those from other atrocities:

(4). Western and Australian ignoring and denial of the Chinese Holocaust, Bengali Holocaust and Gaza Holocaust.
Holocaust ignoring and genocide ignoring are far, far worse than repugnant genocide denial and holocaust denial because the latter can at least permit public refutation and public debate (subject to Establishment media gate-keepers, of course). However as outlined below there is massive and unforgivable Australian and Western ignoring and denial of the Chinese Holocaust, Bengali Holocaust and Gaza Holocaust.
(i). Western and Australian ignoring and denial of the WW2 Chinese Holocaust. Professor Wanning Sun (a professor of media and cultural studies at the University of Technology, Sydney, deputy director of the UTS Australia-China Relations Institute and a fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities) on how China’s WW2 began 2 years before 1939: “Although Japan’s full-scale invasion of China began in 1937, an earlier event looms large in the collective memory of the Chinese people: the Mukden Incident on 18 September 1931. Japanese officers staged an explosion on a section of Japanese-controlled railway track near the city of Mukden, blaming Chinese nationalists for the act as a pretext to commence the invasion and occupation of three northeastern provinces – territory Japan called “Manchuria”. In other words, China had already been at war long before World War II broke out in Europe” [68]. Professor Wanning Sun has listed the country representatives attending the 3 September 2025 Beijing Parade commemorating the formal end of the War in the Pacific 80 years ago. Professor Sun tabulated “PRC Victory Day Parade: Country representation (head of state) 2015 vs. 2025” [68]. The only European heads of state to attend the 80th Anniversary Parade were Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Serbia and Slovakia [68].
In stark contrast we have the BBC version: “BBC (2025): “VJ Day stands for Victory over Japan Day, and 15 August marks the date that Japan announced its surrender in WW2 (though official documents were actually formally signed on 2 September). Despite achieving Victory in Europe in May 1945, Allied forces - including the UK, US and USSR - were still locked in conflict with Japan in East Asia, who refused to follow Germany into surrender. War in Japan took a lot out of Allied forces, killing an estimated 71,000 soldiers from Britain and the Commonwealth, including upwards of 12,000 prisoners of war held in Japanese captivity… One of the key factors in Japan's surrender was the dropping of two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, by the US government… The detonations killed an estimated 214,000 people all told, be it through the immediate blast or the long-term after effects” [69].
In the West and Australia the Big Story of 2 September 2025 was the 80th anniversary Big Parade of Chinese military might in Beijing that notably US President Donald Trump watched - ignored were the 35-40 million Chinese dead in WW2, about 40% of the total WW2 war dead. No Western leaders turned up for the anniversary event in Beijing. Australia sent a government official but no government ministers. The heroic Chinese defence engaged so many Japanese divisions in WW2 as to make Japanese invasion of Australia impossible. However the myth of a planned Japanese invasion is still entrenched in Australia [70].
Despite China having saved Australia in WW2, China being Australia’s biggest trading partner, former Labour PM Gough Whitlam having famously and importantly visited China in 1970, and 1.39 million Chinese being 5.5% of the Australian population, the Australian Labor Government insultingly offered no condolences or gratitude to the Chinese, and only sent one government official to the Big Parade. Conversely, Australia waxed hysterical over the Big Parade as evidence of an aggressive and expansionist China. The former NSW Labor State premier and former Foreign Minister, Bob Carr, attended an 80th anniversary commemoration in Beijing but not the Big Parade. The former premier of the State of Victoria, Daniel Andrews, attended the Big Parade and was photographed with both the Chinese and Russian leaders. Both Bob Carr and Daniel Andrews were castigated for their attendance [71]. As Victorian State Premier Daniel Andrews sought to join Victoria with the Chinese Belt and Road initiative but this was vetoed by the racist and incompetent Coalition Federal Government of the time.
White Australia has had an entrenched Sinophobia from the time of the gold rushes in the middle of the 19th century that led to the 1901 White Australia Policy of newly Federated Australia that was only abolished in 1973. Indeed the first Australian PM Edmund Barton notoriously declared (1901): “The doctrine of the equality of man was never intended to apply to the equality of an Englishman and the Chinaman”. The official Australian Labor Party platform (1900): “Total exclusion of coloured and other undesirable races”. Leading Labor figure and eventually leader of the Opposition Arthur Calwell (1940s to 1960s) notoriously stated “Two Wongs do not make a White”, “We will not let the Asian hordes contaminate our golden shores”, and “We can have a white Australia, we can have a black Australia, but a mongrel Australia is impossible” [12, 72]. In 2025 this crap persists: thus women and men are roughly equal in numbers in the new Labor Ministry but Europeans, non-Europeans and Asians who represent 74.7%, 25.3% and 17.4% of the Australian population, respectively, are 90.5%, 9.5% and 2.4%, respectively, of the new Labor Government Ministry [72].
It gets worse. Australia is a member of the 35-member, all-European and deeply racist IHRA that is anti-Jewish anti-Semitic and anti-Arab anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jewish, Palestinian, Arab and Muslim critics of Apartheid Israeli crimes as assertedly “anti-Semitic”) and holocaust-denying by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million Jews killed by violence or deprivation), notably (deaths from violence and deprivation in brackets) the WW2 European Holocaust (30 million), the WW2 Soviet Holocaust (25 million), the WW2 Polish Holocaust (6 million),the WW2 Sinti and Roma Holocaust (1 million), the WW2 Chinese Holocaust (35-40 million, 1937-1945), the WW2 Bengali Holocaust (WW2 Indian Holocaust, WW2 Bengal Famine; 6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha by the British under Churchill with food-denying Australian complicity. The IHRA has been condemned by over 40 anti-racist Jewish organizations [74, 75]. Indeed Theodor Herzl, the genocidally racist psychopath who invented European Zionism, expressly regarded Asians as “barbarians”. (ii). Western and Australian ignoring and denial of the WW2 Bengali Holocaust. The WW2 Bengali Holocaust (WW2 Indian Holocaust, WW2 Bengali Famine), 6-7 million deliberately starved to death by the British with food-denying Australian complicity) has been substantially deleted from British history – it is either not mentioned at all or barely mentioned in a range of British histories (for a detailed analysis see [12]). Thus, just to give several out of thousands of examples, Professor Sir Martin Gilbert deserves credit for mentioning the Bengal Famine but under-estimated the deaths, excused the atrocity, and made no mention of this atrocity in several histories of the perpetrator Winston Churchill [12, 82]. Likewise, eminent Australian historian Geoffrey Blainey deserves credit for mentioning the Bengal Famine in one of his books, but made no mention of it in his books “A Short History of the World” (2000), “A Very Short History of the World” (2004) and “A Short History the Twentieth Century” (2005)[12]. Zionist British historian Simon Schama made no mention of the Bengali Holocaust in his 3-volume “A History of Britain” (BBC, 2002) [12]. The authoritative “The Cambridge History of Australia” ignored Australian involvement in 30 genocides including the WW2 Bengal Holocaust [83]. In 1999 the ABC (Australia’s taxpayer-funded equivalent of the UK BBC) allowed me to make a nation-wide broadcast about the “forgotten” Bengal Famine [84] but in the succeeding quarter century I have encountered only several passing mentions of this atrocity in Australian media.
(iii). Western and Australian ignoring and denial of the ongoing Gaza Holocaust. The Western and Australian Mainstream media refer to the ongoing Gaza Massacre, Gaza Genocide and Gaza Holocaust as a “Gaza war” or “Gaza conflict”. Zionist-perverted Western media are heavily biased in their reporting of the Gaza Massacre. In Zionist-perverted, US lackey and look-the-other-way Australia there is massive censorship of Gaza Massacre realities [85-93]. Some 200 ABC journalists have complained in a Letter to colleagues and ABC management about enforced pro-Israel bias in their reporting: “We’re worried the language we’re using in our coverage is askew, favoring the Israeli narrative over objective reporting. This is evident in our reluctance to use words such as ‘War crimes’, ‘Genocide”, ‘Ethnic cleansing’, ‘Apartheid’ and ‘Occupation’ to describe the various aspects of the Israeli practices in Gaza and the West Bank, even when the words are attributed to respectable organisations and sources… Meanwhile, we’re quick to use ‘terrorist’, ‘barbaric’, ‘savage’ and ‘massacre’ when describing the October 7th attacks. Similarly, we regularly quote sources referring to highly contested claims made by Israel, but not those made by Palestinians and their supporters” [89]. Calum Jaspan (November 2023): “[ABC boss] Anderson joined ABC Melbourne host Raf Epstein on Friday morning, fielding live talkback questions from the show’s listeners, including on the broadcaster’s hesitance to use the words “genocide” and “apartheid” when covering the conflict in Gaza. “When it comes to the use of those terms, the ABC won’t report using them ourselves. What we do is report other people using them,” David Anderson told ABC radio this morning. “So for instance, genocide is a claim that’s been made. It’s a serious crime. It’s an allegation of a crime. The IDF and Israel reject that” [92].
In addition to writing detailed quantitative articles about the Gaza Massacre I have individually addressed hundreds of Letters about this to Mainstream Australian media over the last 23 months but only 5 have been published. However I have published all of these Letters on a website entitled “Australian Mainstream media lying and censorship” as a testament to what Australian Mainstream media don’t want their readers to see, know about or think about [93].
In Zionist-perverted America there is outrageous constraint on reportage of the Gaza Holocaust, notwithstanding the First Amendment that was designed to guarantee freedom of speech. Telling the truth about the Gaza Holocaust is condemned by the Zionazis and their Mainstream government and media supporters as “hate speech” and “antisemitism” with the neo-fascist Trump Administration punishing major universities (notably Harvard and Columbia) for not constraining free speech on campus to the satisfaction of mendacious Zionazi psychopaths. There is massive media censorship over the Gaza Holocaust [94-96]. Thus The Intercept has reported on censorship by the New York Times: “The New York Times instructed journalists covering Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip to restrict the use of the terms “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” and to “avoid” using the phrase “occupied territory” when describing Palestinian land, according to a copy of an internal memo obtained by The Intercept. The memo also instructs reporters not to use the word Palestine “except in very rare cases” and to steer clear of the term “refugee camps” to describe areas of Gaza historically settled by displaced Palestinians expelled from other parts of Palestine during previous Israeli–Arab wars. The areas are recognized by the United Nations as refugee camps and house hundreds of thousands of registered refugees” [95, 96].
An utterly evil aspect of this is that Mainstream media that presently report 62,000 Gazans killed after nearly 23 months of the Gaza Massacre, this being a circa 11-fold under-counting of Gaza deaths [16-22, 97-110]. As estimated from data published by expert epidemiologists in the leading medical journal The Lancet, 64,260 Gazans died violently by 30 June 2024 [97] and hence 136,000 Gazans died violently by 25 April 2025 with a “conservatively estimated” 4 times that number [102, 103] i.e. 544,000 dying from imposed deprivation for a shocking total of 680,000 deaths that is under-reported 11 fold by Western Mainstream media. In impoverished countries about 70% of avoidable deaths from deprivation are those of under-5 year old infants [15]. It is estimated that the 680,000 dead Gazans (28% of the pre-war Gaza population of 2.4 million) included 380,000 under-5 year old infants, 479,000 children in total, 63,000 women and 138,000 men [16-22].
Compounding this extraordinary Western Gaza Genocide-ignoring, Gaza Holocaust-ignoring, Gaza Genocide-complicity and under-counting of Gaza deaths is the massive killing of heroic Palestinian journalists by murderous US-backed Zionist Israelis. The UN has reported that genocidal Apartheid Israel has so far killed 242 journalists reporting the Gaza Massacre, Gaza Genocide and Gaza Holocaust (680,000 Gaza deaths from violence and deprivation as of 25 April 2025), with this translating to 64.5 “journalists killed per year per million of population” as compared to 0.5 (Syria), 0.3 (Afghanistan) and 0.01 (the World) [114]. Memo to cowardly, racist and mendacious Western Mainstream media presstitutes: silence is complicity and inaction is complicity.
Final comments and conclusions.
September 2, the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day), has just passed without Western or Australian acknowledgment of the huge Chinese contribution to the defeat of Nazism and Fascism – 35-40 million Chinese died out of the circa 100 million who perished in WW2. Indeed the West and Australia used the occasion of the 80th Anniversary Parade in Beijing to falsely attack Chinese military strength as supposedly aggressive, threatening and expansionist. In reality on a per capita basis Chinese militarization is much less than that of the US, the West, Australia and Apartheid Israel in 9 key areas (e.g. annual per capita military expenditure, and “frontline forces per million of population”) [115]. Indeed on the VJ Day 80th Anniversary the racist US, West and Australia ignored the WW2 Chinese, Bengali and Gaza Holocausts, atrocities in which Australia was variously complicit.
In 2024 I published a huge book entitled “Free Palestine. End Apartheid Israel, Human Rights Denial, Gaza Massacre, Child Killing, Occupation and Palestinian Genocide”. The sub-title lists 6 key things that must happen to Free Palestine [116, 117]. The century-long violation of the Palestinians has to end - and can end if the World unequivocally demands for the long-suffering Indigenous Palestinians all the human rights set out in the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) [118]. One notes that Article 8 of the UDHR states: “Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law” [118]. A recent estimate of the value of that compensatory “effective remedy” is $7.2 trillion [119, 120]. If the genocidally racist Zionazis will not immediately agree to this then they should be subject to draconian and all-encompassing Sanctions.
One notes that this asymmetrical “war” (actually, a genocidal massacre) has, according to numerous credible human rights organizations, involved umpteen breaches of international humanitarian law, including war crimes and crimes against humanity, as well as the trashing of various treaties and conventions. The International Criminal Court has issued warrants for the arrest of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant, while the International Court of Justice in Case 192 has demanded an end to the killing and the occupation, as well as payment of reparations to the Palestinian people under occupation in the 57 years since 1967 [119-125]. All humanitarians and supporters of truth, love, and peace with justice must continue to agitate for a full reckoning that includes financial compensations and reparations, a truth-telling process, a full and sincere apology, and prosecution of war criminals.
The World can and must immediately stop the horrendous and utterly unforgivable Gaza Massacre, Gaza Genocide and looming total Gaza Urbicide (physical destruction of the ancient and important city of Gaza) [121] by the following resolute actions:
(a). Ending the illegal, 57-year and war criminal Occupation and restore all human rights to the circa 5 million surviving Occupied Palestinians, the 7 million Exiled Palestinians (excluded from the Land continuously inhabited by their forebears for 4,000 years) and the 2.1 million Israeli Palestinians (who suffer under 65 Nazi-style race-based discriminatory laws imposed by genocidally racist Apartheid Israel ). The genocidally racist Zionazis like the German Nazis want the Land but not the Indigenous inhabitants who are to be killed, exiled or confined to concentration camps like the Gaza Concentration Camp.
(b) Preventing any weapons deliveries to serial war criminal, genocidally racist and Zionazi-run Apartheid Israel.
(c). Excluding genocidally racist Apartheid Israel from all commercial, cultural, scholarly and sporting links.
(d). Insisting (as demanded by the International Court of Justice, ICJ) ) on payment of a reparations bill (amounting to an estimated $7.2 trillion for (i) stolen resources, (ii) home, business and infrastructure damage, (iii) lives lost, (iv) long-term specialist medical care for injury and trauma, and (v) restoration of heritage cultural sites [119-121).
(e). Applying rigorous Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) not only against Apartheid Israel but against all people, politicians, parties, collectives, companies and countries supporting this genocidally racist Zionazi rogue state.
(f). Trial and punishment of all those responsible for the Gaza Genocide and Gaza Holocaust (700,000 killed by violence and deprivation), and the century-long and ongoing Palestinian Genocide and Palestinian Holocaust ( 2.7 million Palestinian deaths from violence, 0.2 million, and imposed deprivation, 2.5 million). Jewish British Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter in relation to the Iraqi Holocaust: “We have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it 'bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East'. How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? More than enough, I would have thought. Therefore it is just that Bush and Blair be arraigned before the International Criminal Court of Justice” [126]. 0.7 million? 2.7 million? More than enough, I would have thought.
In 1960 Apartheid South African police shot and killed 69 unarmed Africans protesting the gross and vile inequity of Apartheid. The World (except for Apartheid Israel) imposed draconian and ultimately successful Sanctions on Apartheid South Africa. All civilized people recognize that supporting an Apartheid State means supporting the utterly vile crime of Apartheid, and that those supporting Apartheid are utterly unfit for decent company, public life and public office. Surely the same draconian and no-exceptions Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) should be applied to genocidal Apartheid Israel and all its supporters over the killing of 0.7 million Palestinians in the Gaza Genocide and 2.7 million in the century-long Palestinian Genocide and Palestinian Holocaust.
