If you have not yet received your ScoutBook account via email, please contact your Den Leader and/or our Committee Chair.
Scoutbook is the advancements tool that the BSA purchased from a scouter back in 2015 and has since been pouring resources into. The BSA continues to improve Scoutbook and integrate it into the various National databases for membership, advancement, and training.
The best thing about Scoutbook is that it gives you a clear picture of what your son has earned and what adventures he is working to complete.
When your scout joins, you are granted the ability to modify your son's profile and mark tasks as completed which is handy for when you have work to do or makeup at home. Here in the BSA, we abide by the Honor System. It is sad that I have to mention this, but parents unfortunately have abused this before.
If you have a spouse that will be active in scouting with you, please let your den leader know so that they can create and associate their account.
It is vital that you keep your family's profiles up to date - please review them annually. This allows you to receive emails from the Pack and Den leadership.
