Adult Uniforms
Male Cub Scout Leader Uniforms
All men who are Scouting leaders wear the same uniform with shoulder loops that indicate their program (blue shoulder loops indicate Cub Scouting). The official uniform consists of the following parts:
Neckwear is also optional for leaders, but there are a handful of options:
Female Cub Scout Leader Uniforms
Women who serve as adult leaders in the Cub Scout program have two uniform options.
Female leaders may wear the tan and olive uniform, identical to the one worn by men. Uniform options for women also include culottes or a skirt, and a scarf is available as a neckwear option. Female leaders who wear culottes or a skirt may opt to wear hose instead of the uniform socks.
Female leaders in Cub Scouting also have the option of wearing a blue and gold uniform, consisting of:
Note: While leaders may opt to wear either the tan/olive or the blue/gold uniform, mixing components is not permitted; e.g., the olive skirt with the yellow blouse is not an official uniform option.
Where to Purchase Items:
To get an idea of pricing, or to order items online, visit http://www.scoutstuff.org. This is the official online scout shop. They should have the same prices as our local scout shops.
Before most pack meetings we normally make a trip to the Scout Shop. You might contact the Advancement Chair if you need a patch or two - we might be able to save you a trip and pick them up for you at our cost. You are also welcome to order any needed items online or however you like.
* The Pack does occasionally special order the Red "Pack Number" Patch so you don't have to sew four number patches separately. Pack number patches are available at Pack Meetings.
