Intro to Resident Camp
Webelos Resident Camps are usually held at Camp James Ray in Pottsboro, Texas in multiple sessions throughout June. This is among beautiful trees and located directly on Lake Texoma.
Scouts will spend stay for 3 nights and 4 days attending 6 classes each of the 2 full days. Classes will allow the boys to partially for fully earn Webelos adventures or electives getting a huge jump start on the year. They also have the option of choosing other fun classes such as duct tape adventures or human foosball (where no significant requirements are accomplished).
You do not need to go with your son, although your attendance is welcome and encouraged
The camp will have a large camp-wide campfire the first night and a large pull part the second night.
Participants will live in 9’ x 7’ two-man canvas wall tents on wood platforms. The tents have no mosquito netting.
Cots or mattresses are not furnished.
Showers are located in each campsite.
Food is provided by the camp. Scouts will eat the 3 meals in the camp dining hall.
Cost For Resident Camp
The total cost per Webelos Scout is generally $150 to $175 depending on when you register. The fee includes eight great meals and use of camp equipment.
Additional class fees will be charged based on classes selected.
Participants bring their own personal gear. Cots, footlockers, and mosquito netting is recommended.

Boys and parents will need to review and choose the available classes with their Patrol Leaders.
