Wednesday was a very busy day. We spent the whole morning in the project room of our school, where we were watching movies made by all countries. Each country prepared a short film about family life now and in the past. After we had watched all films, we voted for the best one. The Czech film won the Oscar award for the best film, but the Czech pupils decided to give the award to the Italian team, because they liked their film very much.

Then we went to our classrooms to draw and paint posters of the topic family in 20 years. In the afternoon we visit the Children´s home in Most. The headmistress told us about the home and children they look after. We also met a model and finalist of the Czech beauty contest Veronika Kašáková, who was brought up in the Children´s home. The discussion with her was very interesting.

In the evening a big multicultural part took place in the “Palachárna” school canteen. All students, their host families and teachers were there. The music was fantastic and we sang karaoke. There was a lot of food and drinks, we were also playing three funny games and danced in a circle that was fun.
