On Friday morning we all met at 9 o’clock at school to depart for the energy village “Wendlinghausen”. First we listened to a presentation about the energy used in “Lippe” and especially about the energy produced in “Wendlinghausen”. After that we saw the biogas plant, the solar panels and the wind turbines up the hill, where it was very windy.

At about 12 o’clock we were back at school and had lunch at the bistro.

In the afternoon we summarised the week and thought of the best energy ideas for our life in 20 years. After that we had the official farewell. The students and teachers of the exchange schools got a “Lebkuchenherz” and we all got a certificate.

At 6 o’clock in the evening we all met at the “Hotel Stadtpalais” and visited Lemgo’s traditional Christmas market “Kläschen”.
